I have a good friend and he just got a promise ring for his girlfriend and wants a really unique and surprising way to give the ring to her. She kinda has an idea he’s doing something involving a ring b/c he had to ask her ring size but he wants to surprise her in the way he presents it. Nothing too expensive but he’s up for anything. Please help with any ideas!!!

So does it go on the “wedding” finger like an engagement ring or a differnt finger. Also how do I go about finding her ring size? I don’t want to ask her because then she will get the hint.
