What do you think of getting a 12 year old a promise ring?
i am me asked:
She asked me for it.She said she wants to save herself for a right man, when they get married. What do you think.I support this 100% and I know she’s not kidding about this. She’s an honest girl and I know she would stick to the promise.Where could I get a pretty yet not so expensive promise ring?

I don’t think those are called promise rings…I forget what though. But I think it is a wonderful idea. I think a small gold ring with her birth stone in it would be appropriate.

I think get okay, but they are call purity rings you don’t want to give the wrong idea to people. A nice gold ring with a small stone in it would be perfect. Go to walmart, Kmart, or JC penny

First of all they are called purity rings. Secondly, I’m sure her morals will change once she gets older.

A promise ring is a ring that a guy gives his girlfriend when they aren’t ready for marriage but want to make a commitment that someday they want to be married. The ring you’re talking about is a known as a purity ring or true love wait ring. Most Christian book stores have a few choices. You can find one for around $10. James Avery has some nice ones as well, but they are more expensive.
But to answer your question: I think it’s absolutely awesome that your daughter would ask for such a ring. It’s a commitment worth making and keeping.
