Does a girl really need a promise ring for the relationship to last 4 along time?

My gf wanted this ring in jcpennys and i wanted to suprise her and get it 4 her some other day. i went one day to try an get it and i couldnt find it. She kinda wanted it because she wanted it to be a promise ring. but then again she said it ok dont worry bout it. i jus wanna know if a relationship needs a promise ring 4 it to stay together 4 along time?

No you definitely don’t need one. It is something that is just thoughtful and if you really want to be with her, it just shows her.
Relationships can last without a piece of jewellery. It’s the people in the relationship that keep it together.

i think a promise ring is for your ‘pretend’ wife. hehehe
it does mean a lot to a girl though really but there is no garranty of a lasting relationship unless you both make it so.

well me and my bf been together for 9 months and he got me a promise ring…and we are still together…….but no a promise ring doesn’t only mean to stay for someone along time…it means a lot of stuff.

A promise ring is just a symbol of a decision.
It sounds to me like your girlfriend really wants to be with you if she wants a promise ring, so you’re in a strong position!
I run an online store - - that sells lots of different kinds of promise rings. Why don’t you take a look with your girlfriend and pick one out together? You don’t need a ring to make a relationship work, but it’s definitely a nice daily reminder of the commitment you’ve made.
