   Put it on your left hand on your ring finger. When you get your engagement ring, then you can put it on your right hand ring finger.
   This way you can show people the promise you’ve made to each other for the future!

   well the way its been told to me is that if the promise ring is being given to symbolize an intention to marry, but you arent ready to anounce engagement than the promise ring should be worn on the right hand on the third finger, exactly opposite the wedding ring finger, but I know that their are many different ways to do it.
