   Go to any local insurance place or jewelry store they can appraise it and get you a policy for it’s value.

   Have your parents contact their home owner’s insurance. Do you live with them? The ring can be listed on the policy… there’s a separate form to identify special and or high priced items.. I just don’t remember what it’s called. The ring can be fully covered this way. Good luck.. and Congratulations!

   List it under your parents homeowners policy. Take pictures and copy of receipt. You can also take out a separate policy just for the ring if it is a very expensive diamond. Congratulations!

   Have your parents call their insurance company, show the receipt of the ring, get it insured quickly. It is only about $ 13.00 more a year to have it done.

   Call a reputable insurance company. You can insure jewelry seperately. You will need an appraisal report for the the company but it shouldn’t cost much.

   There are insurance companies specifically for jewelry. You can usually get it from the jewelry store, or at least that is where my husband got mine. They will do and inspection, appraisal, and then you pay the premium. Very simple process, well worth the money if you have a nice ring!

   Yes, you’ll want to insure the ring under a home owner’s insurance policy or rent’s insurance policy.
