How much is this diamond engagement ring worth retail?

Cut - Excellent
Polish - VG
Symmetry - VG
Platinum ring w/ smaller diamonds down the side of the ring and are same quality as the center stone.
How much would something like that be worth retail more or less. Also does anyone know of a good website to obtain that kind of information. Thanks.

take it to any jeweler and they will appraise it for you some might charge a small fee

best bet is to have it appraised by jeweler, any guesses on here would be just that guesses.

Here is an easy way, go to a diamond store, and give them your list above, and tell them you want to buy this diamond. How much? But bottom line, if you own this ring, and are trying to sell it, you will not get retail price from it. You will be lucky to get wholesale price. If you are trying to find out how much he paid for the ring. WHY? It’s a beatiful ring, very high quality. Based on the stats above. Be happy, and quit trying to put a price on it. But if you are trying to sell it. Good luck, My guess is it cost over $3000. I know only a little about diamonds, and I paid over $2000 for a .75 with less stats than you have mentioned.

Every thing is good except the clarity, a diamond that size will show the inclusions.
As far as comparing your diamond to on what it may be worth, check some online sites that sells diamonds

how big is the center stone???? that will have a lot to do with the value of the ring

Believe it or not your Canadian and American shopping channels have great information on Gems and gem quality. they also have links to other sites that can give you this information I think it’s probably worth 3000 to 4000 dollars but being platinum probably more. 6000. easy.
