Where is a good place to buy a NICE diamond engagement ring for a decent price?

I mean a good quality ring without the outrageous price normally attached to it. I don’t want a cheap junk ring, just a nice ring for the best price.

If you’re willing to go get one online, Amazon.com has a “create your own” program that is pretty decent with helping you get exactly what you want. The prices are good too.

This may sound really pathetic….but we got my ring from a pawn shop. We were just in there looking at a table saw that we saw in the window and I went to look at the jewelry and there was a really awesome vintage ring–2 carat in a platinum filigree setting. The stone was a European Cut which is from the 1800s. I get compliments on it all the time. I feel lucky to have it. Some people might find it strange but I love love love my ring and we only paid $600.00 for it!

Go to the diamond mart/market downtown/in your city. You get a good quality diamond, and you pick the setting.

You get what you pay for! Don’t go to the malls.
Try signature Blue Nile diamonds. They are very nice and the prices are ok.
