I wouldn’t use anything except a commercial jewelry cleaner specifically safe for platinum and diamonds. I think toothpaste works great, to be honest (rub it into the diamond and band with an old toothbrush). Your diamonds will sparkle.

toothpaste is the best…i have used hydrogen peroxide but did not get the sparkle

good old ammonia always does the trick!
