you could get a silver band for him with the infinity symbol engraved on the inside of the band with your initials. If you are not aware of what the infinity symbol looks like, it is a slightly stretched out figure of 8.
OR
you could put engravings of a heart, a crown and hand. It would symbolize the claddaugh rings which mean love, loyalty and friendship.
Just some thoughts, I’m sure what ever you pick he will like.
